BiotechCorp set to launch social media webcast in Boston


KUALA LUMPUR: Several significant milestones, including the launch of a social media webcast, is expected to be announced by BiotechCorp at the ongoing BIO international conference and exhibition.

“BioSegment” will be a webcast series featuring BioNexus companies’ business operations and the research and development and scientific processes involved in coming out with biotechnology products and services.

“This will be a strategic tool for BiotechCorp to promote Malaysia’s position in the field of biotechnology by highlighting key focus areas, major developments and continued government commitment in building upbio-entrepreneurship, research and development and innovation,” said BiotechCorp chief executive officer Datuk Mohd Nazlee Kamal.

The corporation is participating for the eight consecutive year at the four-day BIO international conference and exhibition which began in Boston on Monday.

BiotechCorp’s participation is being supported by the Malaysian Investment Development Authority, Northern Corridor Implementation Authority and other related bodies.

“The profound support from these organisations bodes well for the future of biotechnology in Malaysia,” he said in a statement. — Bernama
