Norzila is Bank Negara assistant governor
KUALA LUMPUR: Bank Negara has appointed Norzila Abdul Aziz assistant governor from Nov 1.
In a statement yesterday, the central bank said Norzila would be responsible for the investment operations and financial market department and the foreign exchange administration department.
Prior to her appointment, Norzila was the director of the investment operations and financial market department, a position she held since 2006.
Norzila joined Bank Negara in 1986 and had served in the investment operations and financial market department’s London representative office. She holds a business degree from Curtin University, Western Australia, and is a member of the Australian Society of Accountants.
