Ingress unit gets Perodua contract


KUALA LUMPUR: Ingress Technologies Sdn Bhd (ITSB), a subsidiary of Ingress Corp Bhd, has been appointed the Tier 1 supplier for Perodua Manufacturing Sdn Bhd.

It was for the supply of “Body In-White” as well as six modules for a brand new Perodua model, said Ingress Corp in a statement.

The six modules include reinforcement roof child part, door child part, rocker panel assembly, fuel lid assembly, lower back assembly and under rear sub-assembly.

The project entails the supply by ITSB of components to Perodua commencing in the third quarter of the financial year ending Jan 31, 2010 for five years

The project is expected to generate revenue of about RM45mil a year while the total investment for the project is estimated at RM49mil. – Bernama
