Aeon Co's RM65m plan to refurbish Aeon Big stores
Aeon Big, under Aeon Asia, is currently undergoing a rebranding exercise under the new management.
Aeon Big Managing Director and Aeon Asean Chief Executive Officer Nagahisa Oyama said since its takeover of Carrefour Malaysia's 27 stores in November 2012 from Magnificent Diagraph Sdn Bhd, their team has worked hard to make a lot of changes in improving business to serve customers better and more efficiently.
"Customers can always be assured of the best deals of good quality, all under one roof, with enhanced product variety and good retail mix," Oyama told reporters at the launch of the "Orange Campaign" here on Thursday.
In line with the rebranding exercise, the campaign, a 70-day marketing and promotion effort, will introduce the new look in catalogues, website and renovations which aims to create awareness and for Aeon Big to give back to its customers, he said.
Oyama said six stores - in Section 23 Shah Alam, Subang Jaya, Wangsa Maju, Tropicana City Mall, Bukit Rimau and Kota Damansara - have already been revamped and the remaining stores will all be completed by end-May.
"Stores will open as usual and the renovation works will be done overnight and it's progressing well to be completed," Oyama added.
