China Automobile slips to low of 59.5 sen in active trade

KUALA LUMPUR: Shares of China Automobile Parts Holdings Ltd fell to as low as 59.5 sen in active trade on Wednesday, down 8.5 sen from its offer price of 68 sen, in line with the weaker broader market.
At 11.26am, it was down 7.5 sen to 60.5 sen. There were 38.99 million shares done at prices ranging from 59.5 sen to 70 sen.
The FBM KLCI lost 15.31 points to 1,618.04. Turnover was 392.90 million shares valued at RM502.37mil. Losers hammered gainers 376 to 103.
To recap, on its first day of listing on Jan 30, the company saw its share price surging by 88% to RM1.28 but ended its first listing day at 78 sen, just 10 sen above its offer price of 68 sen.
