Bumi Armada, Unisem and Mudajaya to see trading interest

KUALA LUMPUR: Hwang DBS Vickers Research (HDBSVR) expects Asian equities to swing sideways when trading resumes on Tuesday in the absence of market leads from Wall Street, which was closed on Monday.

At Bursa Malaysia, the listless performance could continue and the market may drift lower.

"On the chart, the benchmark FBM KLCI is expected to slide towards the tentative support line of 1,615 anytime soon," said the research house. HDBSVR said among the stocks that might see trading interest were Bumi Armada, after its jointly controlled entity clinched a US$740mil nine-year contract to provide a floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel in India.

Tasek Corporation declared a net dividend per share (DPS) of 67.5 sen or a net yield of 4.6% and Box-Pak, net DPS of 7.5 sen per share or a net yield of 3.6%. However, Unisem and Mudajaya announced poorer quarterly financial results.
