Tan to replace Tong at Dijaya


PETALING JAYA: Datuk Tong Kien Onn 53, the current managing director of Dijaya Corp Bhd, has resigned from his position to pursue other interests in life.

Replacing him will be Dijaya's current deputy managing director, Dickson Tan Yong Loong, 31. Tan is the son of Dijaya's major shareholder, Tan Sri Danny Tan Chee Sing.

Dijaya also appointed Datuk Yau Kok Seng 53, as director and chief executive officer of Dijaya. Yau is the former group managing director of Hong Leong Industries Bhd.

With Yau's appointment, Danny Tan has now been redesignated to vice chairman of the company from his previous position as chief executive officer.
