SMPC Corp sees shares crossed sharply below market price
KUALA LUMPUR: SMPC Corporation Bhd's 784,840 shares were transacted in an off-market deal on Friday at 66 sen apiece.
Stock market data showed the shares, which accounted for a 1.6% stake, were traded at a discount of 14 sen or 17.5% below Thursday's closing price of 80 sen.
At midday, SMPC shares were untraded at 80 sen, with buy bids at 80 sen and sell bids at 84 sen.
Its warrants, SMPC-WB saw 654,800 units crossed off-market at six sen each. This was 14.5 sen or 70.7% below the Thursday's closing price of 20.5 sen.
At midday, the warrants were down 0.5 sen to 20 sen with 17,200 units done.
