CEO buys stake in Bumi Armada
PETALING JAYA: Bumi Armada Bhd’s executive director and chief executive officer Hassan Assad Basma has acquired 2.5 million of the company’s shares via a call option agreement.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the company said it had completed the acquisition of Tranche 2 Option Shares granted by Ombak Damai Sdn Bhd, Objektif Bersatu Sdn Bhd, Wijaya Sinar Sdn Bhd, Karisma Mesra Sdn Bhd and Wijaya Baiduri Sdn Bhd pursuant to the call option agreements dated Aug 18, 2011.
The shares were transacted yesterday at a cash consideration of RM2.25 per share.
The counter ended the day’s trading at RM3.72.
Post exercise, Hassan will have a total of 10 million shares representing a 0.34% stake in Bumi Armada.
