SILK unit wins RM34.5mil contract extension
KUALA LUMPUR: SILK Holdings Bhd's subsidiary Jasa Merin (M) Sdn Bhd has bagged the extension of contracts for the provision of two anchor handling tug supply vessels worth RM35.4mil.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, SILK said the contracts were awarded by Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd.
“Each of the contracts, which commenced in early November last year, had a primary period of one year with an extension option of one year, and will be extended for another year commencing early November 2012,” it said. - Bernama
