Cybertowers loses half of market capitalisation in 3 days

KUALA LUMPUR: Cybertowers Bhd extended its losses for the third consecutive day on Monday, plunging to a low of 95 sen, the lowest since April 30 in the absence of fresh negative news.

At 10.37am, it was down 7.5 sen to 99.5 sen. There were 575,100 shares done at prices ranging from 95 sen to RM1.14.

The FBM KLCI was up 6.01 points to 1,632.39. Turnover was 346.99 million shares valued at RM261.29mil. There were 337 gainers, 169 losers and 257 counters unchanged.

Cybertowers' share price hit limit-down on Thursday and was queried by Bursa Malaysia Securities. However, the company had then said it was unaware of the reasons for the sell-down.

Cybertowers' market capitalisation has been reduced by half from RM194mil (based Wednesday's closing price of RM1.94 and paid-up of 100 million shares) to RM99.50mil (based on the share price of 99.5 sen in late morning trade on Monday).
