Bursa Securities queries Cybertowers after shares tumble (Update)
KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Malaysia Securities queried Cybertowers Bhd after the share price hit limit-down on Thursday.
At the close, the share price was down 58 sen to RM1.36 with 1.17 million shares done.
The FBM KLCI closed down 3.96 points to 1,625.49. Turnover was 1.28 billion shares valued at RM1.68bil. Losers beat gainers 478 to 289 while 341 counters were unchanged.
However, Cybertowers, in its response to the query said it was unaware of any factors that caused the limit-down in the share price.
It also said it was not aware of any corporate development, rumour or report concerning the business and affairs of the group that might account for the unusual market activity.
