Bursa Securities queries Luster over unusual market activity
KUALA LUMPUR: Luster Industries Bhd's shares and warrants, which had surged in very active trade, saw Bursa Malaysia Securities issuing an unusual market activity (UMA) query.
It said on Friday the UMA was over the sharp rise in price and high volume in its shares recently.
Bursa Securities had requested the company to provide an announcement for public release over the cause of the UMA.
At 10.34am, Luster was up 4.5 sen to 18.5 sen with 94.65 million shares done. The warrants rose three sen to 13.5 sen with 52.87 million units transacted.
The FBM KLCI was down 1.1 points to 1,600.33. There were 413 million shares done valued at RM284.19mil. There were 128 gainers, 315 losers and 214 stocks unchanged.
