Pharmaniaga issued with UMA query
KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Malaysia has issued an Unusual Market Activity query to Pharmaniaga Bhd due to the consecutive limit up in the company's shares.
As of 11.20am today, Pharmaniaga's stock price had surged RM1.95 to RM8.45, with 1,672,600 shares done.
Last Friday, shares of Pharmaniaga Bhd had hit limit-up in early trade, surging to RM6.48 after it resumed trading.
At 9.06am last Friday, the share price was up 29.8% or RM1.49 to RM6.48.
Last Thursday, Pharmaniaga said its public shareholding spread increased to 25.76%.
This was after its parent, Boustead Holdings Bhd placed out 10.45 million shares to rectify the shortfall in the public spread requirement.
