Zakie appointed new FIMM CEO


PETALING JAYA: The Federation of Investment Managers Malaysia (FIMM) has appointed Ahmad Zakie Ahmad Shariff as its new chief executive officer.

The former chief executive at FA Securities Sdn Bhd has worked with various stock broking houses locally and abroad. He was previously chief executive at Pemodalan Terengganu Bhd Asset Management in 1996 and then executive director at SJ Securities Sdn Bhd in 2000.

He was also the investment advisor to both Amanah Saham Kedah Bhd and Amanah Saham Terengganu Bhd and currently sits on the Investment Committee for the Malaysian Examination Council.
