Anuar is VP for Shell Upstream
KUALA LUMPUR: The Shell Group has appointed Mohd Anuar Taib vice-president, Malaysia, for Shell Upstream International Asia effective Sept 23.
Mohd Anuar Taib He would succeed Datuk Wee Yiaw Hin, who is also managing director of Sarawak Shell Bhd/Sabah Shell Petroleum Co Ltd, posts which Anuar would also assume, Shell said in a statement.
Anuar is currently regional wells manager for Asia Pacific, based in Miri. He joined Shell as a wellsite drilling engineer in 1990.
During his subsequent 19 years with Shell, Anuar has lived and worked in Miri, Kuala Lumpur and New Orleans, the group said.
Anuar holds a degree in mechanical engineering from Case Western Reserve University, United States, and an MBA in international management from RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia. — Bernama
