Talk on SME challenges
PETALING JAYA: The Institute of Management Consulting at SEGi University College and Small and Medium Industries Development Corp jointly organised a public seminar yesterday entitled Global Business Opportunities and Challenges for SMEs at SEGi University College yesterday.
The seminar was aimed at providing the public with information on the various opportunities and challenges that face small and medium-scale enterprises (SMEs) as well as outlining the importance of promotion and coordination of the various SMEs in Malaysia.
SEGi University college vice-chancellor Prof Dr Muhamad Awang in his opening speech said the university college was keen to work closely with the SME sector, which was responsible for providing the largest number of jobs in the country.
Talks included SMEs Industrial Linkage with Education by Daphne Loke, advisor to the SEGi University College Institute of Management Consulting.
