Ex-MASB executive director joins Deloitte
KUALA LUMPUR: Former executive director of Malaysian Accounting Standards Board (MASB), Dr Nordin Mohd Zain, has joined Deloitte Malaysia as a partner.
Deloitte Malaysia said in a statement Nordin was one of the founding board members of MASB when it was set up in 1997 and in May 2000, he was appointed executive director.
Deloitte Malaysia country managing director Tan Theng Hooi, said Nordin was highly regarded in the accounting profession.
”His knowledge and wealth of experience in conventional and Islamic accounting standards will further enhance the company’s ability to deliver value to our clients, particularly in audit and Islamic finance,” he said. - Bernama
