Leong made a non-executive director of Star
Datuk Leong Tang Chong PETALING JAYA: Star Publications (M) Bhd chairman Datuk Leong Tang Chong has been redesignated as non-independent and non-executive director with immediate effect, the company told Bursa Malaysia yesterday.
Leong, 65, had on Feb 25 succeeded Tan Sri Lau Yin Pin as chairman following the latter’s resignation.
The board will announce the appointment of a new chairman at a later date.
Leong has his own legal practice, Messr TC Leong & Co.
