HSBC Amanah unveils its first off-site ATMs
KUALA LUMPUR: HSBC Amanah Malaysia Bhd’s off-site automated teller machines (ATMs) are expected to increase its distribution capability as well as those of the conventional banks of the HSBC Group.
Chairman Irene M. Dorner said Suria KLCC was selected as the most suitable location for HSBC Amanah’s first off-site ATMs due to its strategic location in the Golden Triangle.
These ATMs are also equipped with HOUSe, the shared ATM network between four locally-incorporated foreign banks.
Customers of Standard Chartered Bank, OCBC Bank and UOB Bank are also able to perform their banking transactions via HSBC Amanah’s off-site ATMs.
The bank plans to install more off-site ATMs around the country and is currently looking for new strategic locations.
